Finn's Music City Big Bass Contest 2026

The Rules of Engagement
The Credentials: All participants must carry a valid Tennessee Fishing License. We respect the law as much as we respect the lake.
The Methods: Rod and reel only. We aren't interested in shortcuts—only the classic struggle between angler and fish.
The Weigh-In: Bring your entry to the shop (3676 Bell Rd) between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Fish can be dead or alive, but they must be intact. No "creative" weight-adding allowed; we know all the tricks.
The Deadline: Entries are accepted daily throughout March and April. Winners will be declared on May 1st, heralded across our social dispatches.
The Fine Print. (And the Coffee.)
While the mission is simple—catch the heaviest bass—the protocols are specific. We could list every sub-clause and technicality here, but some things are better discussed in person, over a ceramic mug of dark roast.
For the full "Music City Bass Challenge" scope, including all official rules, registration forms, and perhaps a tip or two on where the big ones are currently hiding, visit the shop.
Bigfoot Disclaimer
While our official scales are calibrated for bass, any photographic evidence of larger, more elusive woodland residents encountered during the contest will be reviewed with great interest over a cup of coffee. We don’t offer a prize for it yet, but the fame would be eternal.
